Daredevil

By now it should come as no surprise that I love superheroes. Yes, I’ve never been a huge fan of comic books, but Batman and Spiderman TVseries growing  up were great! And I really think Marvel is on a roll right now.

With Age of Ultron on the horizon, there hasn’t been much new to watch in the Marvel universe. But then I found it. As I was trawling through Netflix, I came upon Daredevil and laughed. I laughed because every single one of us thought it was that bad Ben Affleck one from so long ago. But it wasn’t.

So naturally I watched the first episode. And another. And another. Until Netflix asked me if I was still watching and I clicked yes so that I could binge watch even more. I guess you could say I was hooked.

I’ve never known much about Daredevil growing up so the entire story was pretty fresh. It was also more brutal than I thought it would be and that was a good thing. I also think that the two big forces, Daredevil and Kingpin, are very interesting together. They both have the same end goal but with very different means to an end. It’s a fantastic story. And spending half of your screen time with Kingpin was great too. You learn to feel for the guy and understand him.

If you haven’t checked it out yet, you really should. From start to finish it’ll get you on the edge of your seat.
